Part of my job is I daily read various papers and sports websites.
It gives me ideas for stories and either entertains me or pisses me off.
Well last week I found on ESPN.com a headline that read “Brandon Marshall Sets Ejection As A Goal”.
Last week as Marshall was prepping to face the Jets and go head-to-head with Darrelle Revis, his goal isn’t to win the game but get ejected? What?
"I'm not joking. I'm serious," Marshall told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "They're going to fine me. It's probably going to be like a $50,000 fine. But that quarter and a half that I'm out there, I'm going to play like a monster. I might get in a fight with Bart Scott. Antonio Cromartie, we pretty much matured our relationship and grew a little bit. We used to fight in Denver and San Diego. If that happens, it happens, so we'll see."
What an a**hole. Maybe Marshall should be focused on winning the game, saving their coaches job, and actually catching the ball (he’s currently third in the league with five drops). The Jets definitely took the 'phins behind the wood shed last night and even though Marshall had some numbers (4 catches for 109 yards) he had at least two huge drops and Revis took a pick six a 100 yards the other way while defending "The Monster." Brandon Marshall's so called physical play was a major part of the Revis pick six, and that came right before Marshall dropped a sure TD pass in the 2nd Quarter. It looks like Brandon's "Monster" was against his own team with a 14-point swing against his own team. What an idiot. So Brandon Marshall and the oddly irrelevant Dolphins need to shut their collective mouths and start looking for a new head coach because coach Tony Sparano will be shit canned by Thursday.
