RIP Steve Jobs

It was just a few weeks ago I heard Steve Jobs was leaving Apple,Inc. for health reasons. I was stunned to hear today that Jobs had passed away at the age of 56. 56? Why do all the great ones die so young? Imagine what a visionary like John Lennon would be like today if he was taken so early. Imagine what a nearly 80 year old Elvis would be like today. We often remember musicians and artists because they touch so many people in so many ways but an entity like Steve Jobs has touched almost every American in one way or another. With his advancements in the tech world bringing us swiftly into the 21st century, Steve Jobs has effected all of our lives and we didn't even know it. It's a remarkable thing to quietly be a world changer, and that's what Steve Jobs was. Jobs instituted change, and did more to connect people to each other than any politician, world leader or artists ever has. The Super Bowl brings millions of people together every year; Jobs has brought hundreds of millions of people together. I think only Jesus himself can claim more. So in honor of his contribution to this, and many generations to come after us, we are presenting the first introduction to Apple products. I think it's appropriate to celebrate with this commercial on this site because it was first shown during the 1984 Super Bowl and if it wasn't for Steve Jobs, who knows if blogs like this fine one here would even be possible. Thanks and RIP Steve Jobs, you will be missed.
